Aeternus Education Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of educators and students. This policy explains how we collect, use, and store data when you use the PolarisTeach platform, in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The Data We Collect

We operate on a principle of data minimization. We only collect what is strictly necessary:

• Educator Data: Name, school email address, and school name for account creation and communication.
• Student Data: First name, surname, and academic assessment marks input by the teacher. We do not collect student email addresses, medical records, or Special Educational Needs (SEN) data.

3. Data Sovereignty and Storage

All PolarisTeach platform data is securely hosted on Google Cloud servers located exclusively in London, United Kingdom (europe-west2). No student data is transferred outside of the UK. We use enterprise-grade encryption for data in transit and at rest.

4. How We Use Data

In the context of the platform, the purchasing School acts as the Data Controller, and Aeternus Education Ltd acts as the Data Processor. We only process student data to provide the analytical and reporting services of the PolarisTeach app. We will never sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Formspree to process marketing and demo requests via our public website. Formspree is GDPR compliant. Once you become a customer, platform data is strictly siloed within our UK database infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as a school maintains an active subscription. Upon termination of a contract, or at the explicit request of the school's Data Protection Officer, all associated student and staff data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

7. Your Rights
